Since 1908

We are Aurelia Crest.

For over a century, our sisterhood has helped women become the greatest versions of themselves — in college, in their careers, and in their communities.

Our Story

Rooted in friendship, raised on purpose.

Aurelia Crest Sisterhood was founded in 1908 by nine women who believed college should shape character as much as intellect. They wrote three words into our charter — Friendship, Sound Learning, and Rectitude — and built every ritual, program, and chapter around them.

Today, more than 140 chapters carry that charter forward. Our members lead student governments, win national scholarships, staff free clinics, and mentor the new members behind them — then graduate into an alumnae network that champions them for life.

What We Stand For

Three words, one way of life.

Friendship

Sisterhood that begins on bid day and deepens for decades. We show up for one another — in celebration and in hardship — without being asked.

Sound Learning

Scholarship first, always. Tutoring circles, study hours, and academic grants keep our chapters at the top of campus GPA rankings year after year.

Rectitude

Moral courage in small moments and large ones. We hold ourselves — and gently, each other — to the highest standard of conduct.

“Aurelia Crest didn't just give me four years of friendship. It gave me a way to measure every decision I've made since.”
— Katherine B. Whitfield, Beta 1974
